Description

As like other works I'd been posted here, this one shows Amazons from my Amazon project. These three women are, right to left, Artemilia, first Amazon queen, High Priestess Demeter and her daughter Bremus.

Done with my faithful tools: W&N 000 sable brush, Talens indian ink and A4 laser paper.

Hm, don't you think triumvirate is a bit unfitting? They don't look as if they're male... ^^ nice image btw. :)

Now this is inking. Deliciously done, and the hatching is great.
Amazing. Simply amazing. If I were to say something as a criticism, I'd say that I would want a bit more shading on the two younger women's faces. That's really reaching, however, as you've done a stunning job.

\Tri*um"vi*rate\, n. [L. triumviratus: cf. F. triumvirat.]
2. A coalition or association of three in office or authority; especially, the union of three men who obtained the government of the Roman empire.
I think this is what Aragos meant. Works your way, too.

Thanks for posting your comment, Aragos.
The term "triumvirate" can be used with a government of three females also.
